Dreams

I used to have lots of lots of colorful dreams. Once there was this vast field stretching out to the horizon. It was orange. The sky was blue and just far enough to see were trees with pink blossoms like pink clouds. I saw thousands of white ostriches running. There was this ocean floor, white sand, blue water. The pendulum from my necklace fell and changed into pink tear drops, softly landing on the ocean floor. The most exciting one could be when I was really flying. I ran to a wall, but it could not stop me. I jumped and started to fly in the air. It was chilly cold in the sky, but I was happy. Green fields were under me and mountains were ahead. I flew up high in the sky, like a bird, to its freedom. I wish I could dream of flying again. It would be a spiritual journey to peace. The prettiest dream is the little lovely house, with brown fence and green lawn. I also had a brother, and when the chocolate icecream van drove by, I showed him and he laughed in my arms. You have lots of things, they say. Yes, I do. My things fit into two suitcases. All I have. First winter here. My thoughts drifted back to the snowy streets of that northern town. I know we talked but how are you doing over there? When we walked, we seldom talked. It was a bliss to listen to the sounds of nature, absorbed in our own thoughts. I would run away sometimes to pick up acorns or flowers, and he would always be there waiting for me. Don't you remember the fox? I saw it running towards us. I wonder how she is doing now. And how far we had walked just to find a couple of ducks to feed?
